Did you know, Ohio is one of the ONLY 50 states left to NOT have a first offense felony provision for animal cruelty? Please support Nitro's Law Ohio House Bill 108 Animal Cruelty which will make horrific acts of animal cruelty a felony with stiffer penalties. Without tons of support this bill will die. We are their voice and EVERY voice makes a huge difference!

This candle is for the dogs that lost their lives at the hands of their trusted trainer, Steven S. Croley. October 22, 2008 High Caliber K-9, a center for dog training,grooming and boarding located in Youngstown,Ohio, was raided by local law enforcement.The gruesome discovery of 7 dead and 12 starving dogs were found.

This is Nitro, a once 110# healthy Rottweiler, as he was found in a cage with overturned, empty food and water dishes.

A HUGE Thank You to Representative Ron Gerberry. He worked very hard and went out on a limb with an animal cruelty bill ( House Bill 7 ) that wasn't very popular after the loss of Nitro and his kennel-mates found dead and starving at High Caliber K-9 Kennels in Youngstown, Ohio.

Ban Ohio Dog Auctions and Puppy Mills

Holmes County, Ohio! Another sad example of the animal cruelty that continues to support the puppy mill industry in OHIO! These animals continue to live a life of misery in the deplorable breeding kennel because of weak laws and lack of enforcement of those currently in place to protect innocent companion animals. Please support legislative efforts to address Ohio dog auctions and puppy mills. It's OUR FAULT OHIO!! for letting this continue!

I will continue to fight for stiffer laws in Ohio, until I take my very last breath! How many of you Ohio residents can say you helped try and make a difference??!

I took part in a campaign to get our Criminal Representatives in Ohio, to pass Nitro's Law. Over one thousand animal photos were submitted to make an album of Nitro's Law supporters. This album was sent to our State Representatives.

These lovely babies are owned and loved by Deanna and Colin Emsley of Washington State. Aspen and Montana also support Nitro's Law. Thank you Deanna for your support in such a worthy cause!

Summer 2011, there has been a HUGE amount of animal cruelty/abuse cases! they range from sexual abuse on an animal! starved,beaten, gas poured on a dog and set fire to, and countless other cases! How can anyone sleep at night knowing this is going on and your not helping to try and make a change? Wouldn't it be wonderful if we didn't have to have fundraisers for rescue? or even have rescues! It's going to take an army to change this! Make your voice heard!! I have!
